The Sheffield Association was founded in 2001, its mission to foster communication among the people, businesses, and organizations of Sheffield and Ashley Falls, Massachusetts. With the Sheffield Times, we aim to provide unbiased information to all. Our work is done by unpaid volunteers or professionals receiving small honoraria.
The Sheffield Association also is the founder and sponsor of Sheffield in Celebration, the annual town festival held the weekend after Labor Day whose main event is the Sheffield Fair. In addition, we act as the fiscal sponsor of the Sheffield Farmers' Market. The Association is a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization, and contributions are tax deductible for federal income tax purposes.
If you donate, the issues will be sent to you by mail, and you won’t have to remember to pick up one of the free copies of the Sheffield Times you can find at locations around town.
