The Sheffield Times is your source for local hometown information!

The Sheffield Times is a free community newsletter for Sheffield, Massachusetts. It is published bimonthly by the Sheffield Association. Copies are available at the Sheffield Library, Town Hall, boxes outside Gulotta’s Mobil Station and the Ashley Falls Post Office, and other locations around town. We also publish special issues for Town Elections and Town Meetings, profiling the candidates and printing Town Meeting warrants verbatim, with an explainer.

Thanks to the community’s generosity—and to the people who send us news and the volunteers who put it together—we have been able to bring free local news to Sheffield for nearly 25 years. Our main expenses are printer, paper and postage. The issues are sent to all who live in the 01257 and 01222 zip codes, the least expensive method of Post Office delivery.
